A Week in Tuscany
Rolling hills, long lunches, and a borrowed Vespa for the afternoon.
We came for the pasta and stayed for the pace. Mornings were markets and espresso; afternoons were slow roads between hill towns.
Every evening ended the same way — a table outside, a bottle of something local, and no reason to rush.
Travel tips
- ◆Rent a Vespa for a day — the hill towns are made for two wheels.
- ◆Book agriturismo stays; the farm breakfasts alone are worth it.
- ◆Shops close midday — plan a long lunch, not errands.
