Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh sea scallops
- salt and pepper — to taste
- 2 cloves garlic — minced
- ¼ cup butter — melted
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese — grated
- parsley — chopped, for the topping mixture

Warm the oven to 400°F (200°C) so it's fully heated before the scallops go in.

Lay the scallops out in a single layer in a baking dish, spacing them apart so they cook evenly.
